Elizabeth Cates, founder of EMBER, has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Over the years, she’s owned businesses in different industries, but at the heart of it all, she’s been most passionate about helping others bring their dreams to life.
After raising her family in Connecticut, Elizabeth went through a divorce in 2016 and found herself navigating the world of dating in her 50s. What followed was nearly a decade of first dates; some blossoming into meaningful relationships, others becoming lighthearted “one-hit wonders.” Along the way, she learned that success in dating wasn’t about avoiding failed dates, but about presenting an authentic profile that truly attracts the right connections.
Elizabeth brings this insight and experience to EMBER, helping others put their best selves forward and find the spark they’re looking for. Today, she is happily in love and enjoying the sunshine in Florida, excited to share what she’s learned and inspire others on their journey.
